St. Thomas

Saint Thomas is the most populated and developed of the three big U.S. Virgin Islands. People in Saint Croix warned me that I wouldn’t like it. To them it was just a seething urban cesspool. But not to the rest of us, I think.

The boat rides between Saint John and Saint Thomas were sunny and pleasant.

The town of Charlie Amalie, where we stayed, was pulchritudinous.

At some point I was walking around the airport perimeter hunting for girls.

Getting around the islands was pretty easy; there were lots of inexpensive group taxis.

We took a taxi down to the starting point for a hike to the island’s most popular beach.

The island has food and drink to sustain its human population.

Saint Thomas is built up, though. Not nearly as many sexy chickens as the other islands :(.
