This is a tale of Freddy (always ready) and Stan (always with a plan) and their travels through Sicily. Freddy first stopped over to see Ostia in the Italian mainland, and then spent the rest of his trip on that home of Polyphemus, on that vista which nearly tempted Aeneas from his Roman destiny. Stan joined him for much of this trip, and they biked from one town to another, seeking only to make a bit of this land’s glory, beauty, and history a part of themselves.
